My summer has been filled with amazing fellowship and learning! Now I leave in less than a week ( Late night September 1st ) and I stare at my floor covered in clothes, storage bags, notebooks, toiletries and I am not sure how I will fit it all in one bag. Most of my friends have already left for college and if I am being honest Spokane is really boring without them. I am more nervous to go to Gainesville, Georgia than I am to Guatemala. I am nervous to leave everything known and comfortable behind to live with 50 people that I have never met before. But in all my nervousness I have this feeling that I will be ok. Everything will be ok.

So while I spend my last few days home you can find me getting coffee with the friends that have not left yet, and doing very small and specific tasks to avoid packing. As thrilled as I am to embark on this journey ahead, it is scary and unknown and that's the truth.
