Travel day !

We are on the bus headed to the airport. The goodbyes aren’t too sad because I know I’ll be back sooner then later. I’ve been sick the past 3 days and I’m thankful that I’m better than I was, but I am still not great. A lot of people on my squad are leaving here not being able to poop, and others can’t stop.

Ok so here’s a big update

We made it to a dropping point where you go to get your tickets. 50 duffles all next to the space cowboy statue. Megan and I used a luggage cart most of the way which was fun for us. I dropped my water bottle on the tram rails, but hoped the wall and grabbed it. Only Megan even saw.

For 8 hours we sat around that cow. A lot do people went out to different stores or restaurants. Some people met up with family. Me Lianne Grace and Ally ate Claire’s moms homemade pumpkin rolls and laughed about poop. Once we finally got to the gate I got my long awaited sugar cookie oat milk latte ( you have to say it really quickly ), and Wendy’s!!! Small mistake because I haven’t been able to eat more then a few bites of food at a time. So I only had half the burger( I’m saving it don’t worry)

Now I am in another window seat with Dawson on the end ( no middle!) and I just watched all of the Lego movie. So good. I could create a lot of biblical parallels ! EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!!

I had a Korean meal. I didn’t eat it. Awko. The flight attendant said “ oh you didn’t like it “ AHHH screaming. How embarrassing

I’m sitting next to a gal who’s Korean, speaks Korean English and Spanish and has been living in Mexico for a year. Wow. She showed me how to eat my meal. I took 1 bite of everything

8:43am(LA time on my phone )

I slept for about 9 hours I think. Crazy. But like clearly I slept ok. Now only 3.5 hours left and to us world racers that is nothing. I just had a little reunion at the snack cart i between sections with Sam, Emma Bland, Skyler and Marvin. Love a quick hello to my friends. That’s something that I think is so cool. I met these people 4 months ago. 4 months is nothing! The people I call my best friends at home I’ve all known for a minimum of 6 years. But now I have 50 people who I feel comfortable talking to, eating a meal with, sitting on a plane next to, and living with. How amazing!

I was listening to ‘Happy Place’ audio book because it was HIGHLY recommended this year.

Ally, PV, lianne and I got jumba juice and their large is like a small. So good tho .

We are loading the flight to Vietnam right now, I could not find alexina anywhere, so I ate her doughnut. If you’re reading this, I’m sorry, Alexina.
